I apply this toner directly to my skin without a cotton pad. When I put it in my hands and rub it a bit, I realized that it makes the toner slightly foamy. I think that this is a great toner, it lasts a very long time. I have used it for several months and I think that it has helped clear up my skin a bit. I feel like my skin is able to absorb this toner very well. After I wash my face and apply the toner, I feel my skin absorbing it right away!
